The biggest racing day of the year comes your way on Sunday with one of the world’s most iconic races: the Indianapolis 500.

The field is scheduled to start racing at 12:45 p.m. ET, and Will Power, who is currently sitting at the top of the driver standings entering Sunday, will take over.

While the field features eight previous Indy 500 winners, it also features a few notable rookies: Jimmy Johnson, NASCAR greats sitting behind the wheel of Indianapolis in his IndyCar for the first time, in his first full season to race the Chip Ganassi.

Also a notable starter is former F1 driver Romain Grosjean: The Frenchman was behind the wheel of Haas in F1 when a devastating and explosive car wreck ended his F1 career in 2020. After several tests for Mercedes, Grosjean jumped to Andretti Autosport this year.
