Irvine, California.And May 27 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Today, Karma Automotive, Inc., Southern CaliforniaThe company announced the luxury electric car maker based on it Nicholas Davidan accomplished automotive designer, has been appointed to lead the company’s global interior design efforts at the Karma Design Center.

Nicholas David Reports will be submitted to David HiltonKarma, Karma’s Senior Director of Global Branding and Design, plays an integral role in the design of production and concept vehicles. In his new role at Karma, Mr. David will oversee the interior design team to achieve industry-leading interior design focused on electric vehicles and to support the brand’s visions of delivering world-class implementations for Karma worldwide.

Prior to joining Karma, Mr. David spent 3 years as Head of Exterior Design at Advanced Design Los Angeles for the GAC Group, working on various production design programs, concepts and strategic projects for the new Aion brand. Mr. David’s career spans over 20 years, during which time he held leadership positions with Honda R&D and GM Advanced Design studios in the USA as well as with Jaguar and Land Rover in the UK. He also held the position of Director in Design Consulting for the Aria Group, where he contributed to high-profile projects for BMW, SpaceX, Gulfstream, SAIC, Nest and Zoox.

Mr. David holds a degree in engineering from Swansea V University Wales He holds a master’s degree in Vehicle Design from the world-renowned College of Design, Royal College of Art, London. He started his first job in the advanced design studio at General Motors in Coventry, United Kingdom.
